Fresha alternatives for UK salons, clinics and barbers
The right Fresha alternative depends on why you are leaving. If it is price, flat-fee software such as Booksy (£40 a month) can cost less. If it is marketplace fees, you need somewhere clients book with you directly. If you want your own website without building it, Mintbook sets one up from £149 a month with 0% commission.

Why businesses look for a Fresha alternative
Fresha is not expensive to start, but the costs build as you grow. From Fresha’s own pricing and help pages:
- The subscription is £14.95 a month for one person, or £9.95 per bookable team member, excluding VAT.
- New clients who discover you on the Fresha marketplace cost a one-time 20% of their first appointment, minimum £4, and the fee is non-refundable.
- That fee still applies if the client saw your marketplace profile first and then booked through your own website.
- Card payments cost 1.4% + 25p online and 1.19% + 20p in person.
- Texts are free up to 20 a month, then 6p each.
For some businesses that is still good value. Run your own numbers before deciding.

What is the best Fresha alternative in the UK?
It depends on why you are leaving. Booksy suits businesses that want one flat price, Slotory and SimplyBook.me suit a simple booking page on a small budget, and Mintbook suits established businesses that want their own website set up for them.
How do I stop paying Fresha commission?
Fresha’s 20% fee only applies to new clients from its marketplace. Use the Book Now links from your Fresha partner profile, add existing clients to your client list, or move your bookings to a system without marketplace fees.
Is there a Fresha alternative with no commission?
Yes. Mintbook, Slotory, SimplyBook.me and Square Appointments publish no booking commission. Booksy charges commission only if you turn on its optional Boost feature, and Treatwell charges 35% plus VAT on new marketplace clients.
Will I lose my clients if I leave Fresha?
Not if you export them first. Fresha lets you export your client list to Excel or CSV, which a new system can import. Saved card details cannot be exported, so clients add a card again when they next book.
